EXEMPLARY READING PROGRAM -Elmwood Primary Learning Center is an award winner of the Indiana State Reading Association’s Exemplary Reading Award, and recognized by the International Reading Association as an Exemplary Reading School.
**IREAD – 93% Passing -Ninety-five percent of all third grade students passed the Indiana State Reading Assessment in 2018-2019.

DEDICATED AND CARING STAFF -Elmwood prides itself for having a dedicated and caring staff meeting the needs of all students.

A SAFE SCHOOL- All visitors need to use door #1 and will need to present a valid ID to obtain access to our building. Visitors will need to have a time, date, and specific reason planned for their visit.
**Parents/guardians and people on the emergency contact list may have lunch with their child. You have to present a valid ID and wear our identification sticker. If family is in town visiting, please call ahead to make arrangements. No visitors are allowed at recess.

ELMWOOD ATTENDANCE HOTLINE: PLEASE USE OUR HOTLINE TO CALL IN YOUR ABSENT STUDENT. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS LEAVE A MESSAGE WITH THE STUDENT NAME, YOUR NAME, AND THE REASON FOR ABSENCE. 765-475-2430
**Perfect Attendance is zero missed days and no more than two total tardies.
**Please be aware that student illnesses with parent notification are excused (up to five days per year, without a doctor’s note). Beyond this, a medical note is required for an excused absence from school.
