“History in the making. Peru Women’s Wrestling Club took its first victory against Wabash Women’s Wrestling last night. The girls claimed the win 4-1.
This is the First team of all female wrestlers in Peru’s history. The IHSAA will recognize girls wrestling as a sanctioned sport for the 2024 season. This season sets the tone for next year’s success.

These young ladies are fearless trailblazers and pioneers.

On behalf of the coaches, I thank everyone for their support. From staff to family and friends, and most importantly the parents allowing their daughters to make history.
